Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Borys Hund!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Bashaad Al Hammad!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Hammad fails with a takedown attempt.
Hund is looking for a counter combo.

Hund wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Al Hammad, who protects the arm well.
Al Hammad is looking for a sweep.

Hund tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hund has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Hund looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Al Hammad is trying to control Hund's posture but Hund avoids it.

Al Hammad wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Hund tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Hund thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Hund is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Al Hammad knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Hund lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Al Hammad down.
Al Hammad is trying to improve his position.
Al Hammad wants to control but Hund postures up.

Hund is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Al Hammad has escaped the position, nice work there.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Al Hammad prevents Hund from moving into mount.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
