Shankoli comes to the cage accompanied by Ravi Shankar - Om Shiva. Mac Airt has chosen Wolf Blood as his entrance music. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mac Airt slips a jab and a cross from Shankoli.
Mac Airt throws out a counter right but Shankoli avoids it with no problem.
Mac Airt moves out of range as Shankoli throws a body kick.
Mac Airt uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Shankoli.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Mac Airt! But no joy.
Mac Airt takes one on the button.

It looks like Cormac Mac Airt has been cut.
Nice defenses there by Mac Airt.
Shankoli throws a lazy body kick
and Mac Airt counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Shankoli uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mac Airt.
A combination from Mac Airt does no damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shankoli throws a lazy uppercut
and Mac Airt counters with a nice uppercut.
Mac Airt bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Shankoli's head.
Shankoli looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Shankoli misses with a shot to the body
letting Mac Airt counter with a right hand.

The fighters circling - Mac Airt throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Mac Airt lands with a right hand.
Shankoli digs a good body shot into Mac Airt's ribs.
Mac Airt throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Shankoli counters with a crisp one two that drops Mac Airt! Shankoli thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Mac Airt to his feet! Mac Airt is in big trouble!

Mac Airt is rocked!
Shankoli plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Mac Airt to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Mac Airt just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

Post fight, Ravi Shankoli stared into the camera and said 'His spirit was strong, but my intention was to crush him. Psychologically, as well as physically with my boxing.
