With a record of 8 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Robert Stone!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone slips a straight right by Mundy.
Mundy misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Stone comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Mundy tries to land knees in the clinch but Stone avoids the damage to the body.
Mundy is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Mundy tries a head kick but it misses.
Mundy shoots in looking for a takedown but Stone manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mundy's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Stone is looking to control Mundy's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Stone avoid being mounted?
Stone wants to improve his position but Mundy is controlling well.
Mundy thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Stone works his way to full guard. Good work.
Mundy looking to sit in guard and control but Stone gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Stone controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Mundy has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Stone can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stone accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Robert Stone is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Stone must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Mundy can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Stone controls the pace.

Robert Stone decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
