Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marv Ellis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Knutr Sveinsson!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Wagner Zegers and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sveinsson misses with an uppercut
and Ellis counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Sveinsson scores with the left hand. Ellis knows he should have avoided that one.


It looks like Marv Ellis has been cut.
Sveinsson digs a good body shot into Ellis's ribs.
Ellis throws out a loose jab but Sveinsson uses good head movement to avoid it.

Sveinsson feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ellis sprawling to the canvas! Ellis rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Sveinsson finish him?!


Ellis is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ellis misses the shot to the body.
Oh Ellis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
We've been hearing reports that Ellis has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Sveinsson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ellis sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Sveinsson thows a left - swing and a miss!
Ellis seems to have got his legs back now.
Ellis misses with a hook. Sveinsson ducked under it nicely.
Ellis looks to score with a jab to the body but Sveinsson is just out of range.
Ellis throws a leg kick but Sveinsson sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Sveinsson wants to counter the offense by Ellis and move into the clinch position.
Ellis misses the shot to the body.

Sveinsson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ellis, pushing him back against the cage.
Ellis looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Ellis doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Ellis manages to pull guard.
Sveinsson's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Ellis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sveinsson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Ellis holds on and takes a little breather.

Ellis is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Sveinsson is aware though and is defending well.
Sveinsson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Sveinsson stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Sveinsson cracks Ellis with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Sveinsson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Ellis to stand back up!

Ellis jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Ellis pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Sveinsson tries to clinch up but Ellis circles away and keeps his distance.
Sveinsson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ellis throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sveinsson has Ellis up against the cage in a clinch.
Sveinsson prevents Ellis from breaking the clinch.
Sveinsson misses with a punch on the inside.
Sveinsson lands a right hand.
A right hook to the body lands for Sveinsson.
Sveinsson misses with a short punch on the inside.

A nice left hand lands by Sveinsson.
Sveinsson digs a right hand underneath Ellis's ribcage. Ellis let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Ellis tries to land knees in the clinch but Sveinsson avoids the damage to the body.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Ellis.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Sveinsson.

Ellis jumps guard.
Sveinsson showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Sveinsson passes into half guard.

Sveinsson moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Ellis.
Ellis is looking to regain half guard here but Sveinsson keeps moving and retains side control.

Ellis wants to control but Sveinsson postures up.
Sveinsson controls the position.
Ellis is trying to control Sveinsson's posture but Sveinsson avoids it.
You can see the frustration on Ellis's face as Sveinsson controls the position.
Ellis is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Knutr Sveinsson dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Marv Ellis's cut.
That's time! Ellis's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Sveinsson closes the distance and pushes Ellis back into the cage.
Sveinsson tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Ellis blocking some punches.
A nice left hand lands by Sveinsson.
Sveinsson lands with a left to the head.
Ellis works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Ellis lands a damaging elbow.
Sveinsson has a couple of punches blocked by Ellis.
Nice body punch from Ellis.

Ellis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That kick from Ellis tenderised Sveinsson's leg. Sveinsson is trying to keep his angry face on.
Sveinsson avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Ellis throws a hook to the side of Sveinsson's head but Sveinsson sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Sveinsson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Ellis half committed to a counter leg kick.
Ellis misses with a telegraphed body shot

and Sveinsson holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Ellis takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sveinsson missing with a left hand there. Ellis was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Sveinsson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ellis throws out the jab.
Ellis scores with a sloppy right hand. Sveinsson should have avoided that one.
Sveinsson scores with a crisp jab that stopped Ellis in his tracks.
A big left from Ellis misses.
Sveinsson connects with a right that clearly hurt Ellis. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Sveinsson proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Ellis collapses and taps out under the pressure!
