Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adrian Ivanov (ranked 5078 p4p, 452 weight class) and Cobweb Cooter (ranked 4977 p4p, 439 weight class). Cooter has chosen Porch Honky as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Steven Brown and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Ivanov misses
letting Cooter counter with a right hand.
Ivanov misses with a hook.
Ivanov moves out of range of the strikes.
Cooter misses with the combination.
Cooter darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ivanov drives through and clinches with Cooter against the cage.
Ivanov stalling in the clinch.
Cooter scores with a shoulder strike.
Ivanov is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Ivanov pushes Cooter back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Cooter dodges an elbow strike from Ivanov.

Ivanov swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Cooter.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Cooter.
Cooter throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Cooter tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Cooter wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Cooter breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ivanov turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Ivanov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Cooter scores with a jab to the jaw.
Ivanov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Cooter avoids the body shot from Ivanov.
Ivanov lands with a nice body punch.
Cooter avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Ivanov takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Ivanov misses with a wild body shot.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Cooter! But no joy.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
A body shot lands from Cooter.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Ivanov misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Cooter.
Ivanov using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Cooter has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Cooter tries to work over Ivanov's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Ivanov can't find room to land a body shot as Cooter controls the action.
Cooter is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Cooter throws a head punch that misses.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Ivanov takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Ivanov working aggressively here.
Ivanov pushes off an throws an elbow but Cooter leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Ivanov blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Ivanov fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Cooter blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Cooter lands a shoulder strike.
Cooter lands a hook that snaps the head of Ivanov backwards.
Cooter is pressed up against the cage. Ivanov has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Cooter down to the mat. Cooter avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adrian Ivanov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cooter connects with a nice looking jab.
Ivanov throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Cooter to counter with a crisp jab.
Ivanov ducks right into an uppercut from Cooter.
Cooter lands a body shot.
A jab lands there for Cooter.
Ivanov is rocked!
A swing and a miss from Ivanov.
Cooter has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.

Cooter steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Ivanov is out on his feet! Cooter sets himself and nearly takes Ivanov's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Cobweb Cooter!
An out of breath Cobweb Cooter thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
