Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Remy Valentine (ranked 3359 p4p, 388 weight class) and Samuel Douglas (ranked 2909 p4p, 340 weight class). Valentine comes to the cage accompanied by Man with the Harmonica by Ennio Morricone. Douglas has chosen Bob Marley - Three Little Birds as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Douglas uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Douglas throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Douglas has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Valentine finds it's way round the side to connect with Douglas's head.
Valentine swings for the body but Douglas moves out of range.
Douglas lands a jab to the nose.
Douglas takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Douglas dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Valentine. That did some damage!
Valentine scores with a hook to the body. Douglas takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Douglas swings for the body but Valentine moves out of range.
Douglas looks to score with a jab to the body but Valentine is just out of range.
Valentine tries to clinch but Douglas moves out of range.
Douglas throws a counter combo.
Douglas walks into a stiff left hand from Valentine.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Douglas drops Valentine with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Valentine! Douglas dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Samuel Douglas!
Samuel Douglas decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
Remy Valentine was interviewed post fight and said 'I am going to get with my team and rethink a few thinks.'.
