The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lasier throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Chain was covering up waiting for the punch and Lasier finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Chain manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.

Chain is trying to trip Lasier. He has hold of a leg but Lasier is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Chain persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Lasier seems keen to control Chain's posture.

Lasier had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Chain defends it easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Chain is sitting in close to Lasier's body. Lasier has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Chain is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Chain is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Lasier.
