Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bill Glass (ranked 453 p4p, 68 weight class) and Mike Snow (ranked 1426 p4p, 205 weight class). The key to victory for Bill Glass has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bill Glass!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mike Snow!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Santiago Holmes and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snow fails with a takedown attempt.

Snow feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Snow is fighting to break Glass's control of his arms but Glass is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Glass on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Glass tries to get out of the position.
Glass has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Snow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Glass swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Snow wants to control but Glass is keeping him busy.

Snow has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Snow is in close to Glass's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Snow throws a big elbow that misses.
Snow is pushing down on Glass's leg trying to pass to half guard. Glass is fighting to maintain full guard but Snow has managed to sneak the leg through.

Snow throwing strikes here but Glass is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Glass is bucking up trying to escape but Snow cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Glass avoids a series of strikes thrown by Snow.
A nice elbow there by Snow.
Snow pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Snow fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Snow throws a strike there. Glass manages to avoid it well and slips a leg under to get to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mike Snow dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Glass fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Snow manages to avoid it.

Glass is refusing to be controlled, as Snow sits in half guard.
Snow is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Glass can't escape the position.

Snow throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Snow has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Glass's face.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Snow cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looks like Bill Glass has been cut.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Snow postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Glass in real trouble here! The ref calls for Glass to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mike Snow!

An out of breath Mike Snow thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
