Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Dantes (ranked 3734 p4p, 0 weight class) and Klajdi Kelmendi (ranked 6472 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

A jab-cross combination lands for Dantes and sends Kelmendi crashing to the mat! Dantes follows him down to the mat - Kelmendi regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Well, if Dantes is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Dantes here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Dantes is pushing Kelmendi up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Dantes will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Kelmendi up against the cage.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Dantes for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

The referee asks Dantes politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Dantes prefers to stall for the moment though.

Kelmendi might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Dantes is pawing at Kelmendi, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Kelmendi's nose. Kelmendi is badly hurt! Dantes pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Kelmendi tries desperately to hold on but Dantes is relentless in his assault! As Kelmendi receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Dantes away and this one is in the books!

Post fight, Marcus Dantes stared into the camera and said 'Fuck off.'.
Klajdi Kelmendi spoke after the fight, saying 'I WILL BE BACK TO GET WHAT IS MINE'.
