The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolfsbruder catches Beefcake with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
A chopping leg kick lands by Beefcake.
Beefcake shoots in for a takedown but Wolfsbruder shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Beefcake.

Beefcake has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Wolfsbruder clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Beefcake throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.
Beefcake is trying to stick to Wolfsbruder's back but Wolfsbruder is turning into Beefcake. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Beefcake's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Wolfsbruder.

Beefcake has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Wolfsbruder is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Beefcake.

Beefcake shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Elric Wolfsbruder is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Beefcake thumps Wolfsbruder with a low kick.
Wolfsbruder bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Wolfsbruder digs a good hook to Beefcake's body.
Wolfsbruder lands a jab.
Beefcake shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Wolfsbruder pinned against the cage. Wolfsbruder gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Beefcake will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Wolfsbruder lands a big uppercut and Beefcake crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Beefcake looks OK. Wolfsbruder waves Beefcake back to his feet!
Beefcake throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wolfsbruder's waist but Wolfsbruder gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Beefcake off to one side.

and Wolfsbruder counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Wolfsbruder feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Beefcake sprawling to the canvas! Beefcake rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Wolfsbruder finish him?!

Beefcake is rocked!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
