The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira tries to close the distance and clinch up but Valentine swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Valentine darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

It looks like Ernesto Oliveira has been cut.
Oliveira takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Valentine circles away from the clinch attempt.
Saucy Valentine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Valentine lands with a right hand.
Oliveira on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Oliveira throws a push kick but Valentine slaps the foot to one side.
A decent looking cross lands there for Valentine.
Valentine scores with a leg kick.
Oliveira takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Valentine throws out a powerful jab.
Valentine throws a hook but Oliveira avoids it easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Oliveira gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Oliveira tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Valentine paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Valentine connects with a leg kick. Oliveira looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Valentine loads up on a big right hand but Oliveira slips the punch.
Valentine throws a head kick that misses.
A head kick misses from Oliveira.
Valentine unleashes a big counter combination but Oliveira bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Valentine wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Valentine connects with a looping right hand.

Valentine cracks Oliveira with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Valentine has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Oliveira to stand back up!

Ernesto Oliveira's cut is getting worse.
Valentine drops Oliveira with a naaaaasty hook - Oliveira is in real trouble here! Valentine dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
