Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Tycoon (ranked 1240 p4p, 178 weight class) and Rog Bison (ranked 6047 p4p, 699 weight class). Tycoon comes to the cage accompanied by Monkey Business. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tycoon ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Bison lands with a straight right. Tycoon didn't see that one coming.

It looks like Mike Tycoon has been cut.

Tycoon throws a body shot but no joy.

Bison throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Mike Tycoon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bison takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Tycoon paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

It looks like Rog Bison has been cut.
Tycoon looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Tycoon scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Tycoon tries to land a front kick but Bison steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Bison moves away from the strike by Tycoon.

Tycoon throws a shot from downtown. Bison moves away and avoids it.
Tycoon misses with a body punch
and Bison counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Tycoon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bison was well out of range. Poor timing from Tycoon.

Tycoon swings for the body but Bison moves out of range.
Bison lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Tycoon moves into range and connects with a jab.
Tycoon tries to close the distance and clinch but Bison swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The fighters circling - Tycoon throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Bison walks into a left hand.
Tycoon takes a swing at Bison's ribcage but misses.
Jab, jab by Tycoon - just one landing.
Tycoon slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bison throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

and Bison connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Tycoon lands a brutal uppercut that launches Bison off his feet! Bison tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
