The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Torres digs a good hook to Bayley's body.
Torres looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bayley is fending him off so far but Torres persists. Nope, Bayley circles away and we're back to standing.
Torres shoots in for a double leg but Bayley sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Bayley manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Torres on his heels. He'll look to pass Torres's guard now, I'm sure.
Bayley stands and throws Torres's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Bayley is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Torres is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Torres looks to move to half guard but instead Bayley has passed into mount! Damn!
Torres is desperately trying to improve his position but Bayley has a good base and remains in mount.
Bayley lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

It looks like Curt Torres has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A nice elbow there by Bayley.
Torres really wants to buck Bayley off and get back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
