Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ernie Quick (ranked 5410 p4p, 661 weight class) and Ashley Harris (ranked 4167 p4p, 543 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quick wants to clinch but Harris slips to the side
and Harris counters with a straight right hand.
Harris misses with a series of wild punches.
Harris tries to keep at a distance but Quick has taken the fight into the clinch.

Ernie Quick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ashley Harris .
Quick lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Harris drops back looking for a leg! Quick is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Quick manages to kick Harris off! Harris jumps back into Quick's guard.

It looked like Quick was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Quick clinches up with Harris and pushes him back against the cage.

In his post fight interview, Ernie Quick started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
