Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Emmett Vaughn (ranked 9803 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ace Gominoa (ranked 25623 p4p, 0 weight class). Gominoa has chosen Hell's Bells as his entrance music. Ace Gominoa will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaughn doesn't manage to clinch there - Gominoa circles away.
Gominoa lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Vaughn forces Gominoa back against the cage and clinches.

Gominoa throws a head kick that misses.
Gominoa stuns Vaughn with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Vaughn holds on and takes a little breather.

Good leg kick by Gominoa there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Gominoa has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Vaughn feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
