Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Soul Jah (ranked 78 p4p, 8 weight class) and Koba Wyatt (ranked 293 p4p, 34 weight class). Jah comes to the cage accompanied by Bob Marley - Buffalo Soldier. The crowd seem to be enjoying Wyatt's choice of entrance music: Channel Zero. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Soul Jah!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Koba Wyatt!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jah connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Wyatt throws a hook but Jah blocks it.
Jah throws a counter high kick but Wyatt was just alert enough to avoid it.
Jah showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Wyatt.
Jah throws a right and a left that Wyatt avoids nicely.
A nice inside leg kick there by Jah. That's going to slow Wyatt down.
Jah lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Jah feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Wyatt's calf.
Wyatt fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jah jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Jah throws a right and a left that Wyatt avoids nicely.
Jah pivots, looking for a leg kick but Wyatt is out of range and Jah settles back down.
The fight stays on the outside here - Jah looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Wyatt gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Jah.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wyatt lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Jah dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Wyatt. That did some damage!
Wyatt throws a nice looking combination but Jah bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Wyatt rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jah moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jah defending well as Wyatt loads up on a big left hand.
Jah scores with a head kick.
Wyatt stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Jah.
Jah fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Jah lands a nice looking kick to the body. Wyatt takes a step back to recover.
Wyatt darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wyatt sizes up Jah with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Wyatt misses with a hook.
Jah lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Jah looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Wyatt looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Jah closes the distance and pushes Wyatt back into the cage.

Jah's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jah throws a push kick but Wyatt slaps the foot to one side.
Wyatt jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Wyatt keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Jah.
Wyatt appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Wyatt lands a really nice looking cross but Jah seems unphased.
Wyatt throws a series of punches but Jah avoids them all with ease.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jah lands a front kick.
Wyatt misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jah lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Wyatt blocks the body kick.
Wyatt turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Wyatt will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jah avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jah slips under a jab from Wyatt.
Jah throws a leg kick that is checked
and Wyatt counters with a straight right hand.
Jah tries a head kick but it misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Jah clinches up against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on Wyatt's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Wyatt avoiding damage as Jah throws knees to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Jah manages to break the clinch.
Wyatt stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Jah.
Jah throws a wild body kick that Wyatt sees coming a mile off.
Nice body punch from Wyatt.
Jah misses with a low kick.
Jah lands a head kick. Wyatt smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Wyatt throws a combination. Jah tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Wyatt throws a shot to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Soul Jah will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Wyatt misses with a hook
and Jah counters with a series of strikes. Wyatt will be more careful next time no doubt.
Jah throws a leg kick but Wyatt sees it coming and moves out of range.
A jab lands there for Wyatt.


It looks like Soul Jah has been cut.
Jah scores with a jab to the head.
Jah misses with a wild body shot.
Wyatt now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Wyatt swings for the body but Jah moves out of range.

Wyatt feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Jah sprawling to the canvas! Jah rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Wyatt finish him?!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wyatt slips a jab and a cross from Jah.
Jah misses with a low kick.
A little jabbing left from Wyatt on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Some bone on bone action there as Jah checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Soul Jah is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Wyatt takes a swing at Jah's ribcage but misses.
Jah throws a sloppy head kick and Wyatt moves out of range easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jah moves out of range of the strikes.
Jah throws a leg kick
and Wyatt counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Wyatt cracks Jah with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Jah closes the distance and clinches.
Wyatt wants to break free but Jah has control.
Jah presses Wyatt against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Jah lands with a right to the head.
Jah tries a body shot but Wyatt blocks it.
Wyatt is trying to break free.
Jah tries to work over Wyatt's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Jah manages to break the clinch.
Soul Jah seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice defenses there by Jah.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jah checks a low kick from Wyatt.
Wyatt scores with a jab to the head.
Jah looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Jah dodges the punch combination from Wyatt.
A slapping leg kick lands for Jah.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Wyatt, as that shot connected.
Wyatt lands a big right hook! Jah looks hurt but is still standing! Wyatt lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Jah falls down and Wyatt dives in with a huge hammer fist! Jah's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Wyatt runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Koba Wyatt!
Koba Wyatt is the new heavyweight champion!
Koba Wyatt was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
Soul Jah was interviewed post fight and said 'Dude tried to bite my dick off! Unreal man!'.
