Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Waldo Blue (ranked 23604 p4p, 326 weight class) and George Bush (ranked 3953 p4p, 134 weight class). Waldo Blue is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Waldo Blue!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, George Bush!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Tarja Halkonen and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bush closes the distance and clinches.

Bush has hold of one of Blue's legs. Blue is fighting the takedown attempt but Bush gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Bush thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Blue's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bush is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Blue sees it coming and defends easily.
Blue is not content to let Bush control the position.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Bush performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Let's hope that Bush has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Blue shoots in and bounces Bush off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Bush is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

George Bush dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Blue swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Blue looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Bush closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Blue is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Bush trying to land knees to the body.
Blue is pressed up against the cage. Bush has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Blue down to the mat. Blue avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Bush closes the distance and clinches.

Bush wants to take the fight to the mat but Blue manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Waldo Blue has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of George Bush.
Bush is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Blue pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Blue gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Bush wants to improve his position but Blue is controlling well.
Bush tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Bush is trying to get back to full guard.
Bush has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Blue winds up and cracks Bush with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Blue works his foot free and advances to mount.

It looks like George Bush has been cut.
Blue landing shots from mount.
Bush tries to reverse the position but Blue maintains control.
Blue cracks Bush with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Blue lands a big shot there that rocks Bush but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
BOOM! Blue connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Blue trying to control but Bush is having none of it.
Bush regains half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Blue lands with a punch from half guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Blue connects with a nice short shot to Bush's temple.

Blue is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Blue cracks Bush with a solid left hand.
Bush keeping moving, preventing Blue from controlling successfully.

Blue has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Bush to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Blue is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Bush pulls down on the head and he's put Blue to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). George Bush!
George Bush was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
