Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bilabong Conrad (ranked 3651 p4p, 492 weight class) and Christopher Webb (ranked 3790 p4p, 508 weight class). Conrad comes to the cage accompanied by BonieM. Webb has chosen Kid Rock - Born Free as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Christopher Webb has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Webb throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Conrad was covering up waiting for the punch and Webb finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Conrad's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Webb got a little sloppy there for a moment and Conrad has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Webb has managed to get both his arms back between Conrad's legs - danger averted.

Christopher Webb decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
