The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Da Silva misses with a hook. Perry ducked under it nicely.
Perry misses with a looping right.
Perry lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Da Silva slips a straight right by Perry.
Da Silva throwing a counter right hand but Perry manages to avoid it.
Perry stuns Da Silva with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Perry swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Perry scores with a jab. Da Silva acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Perry connects with a single shot there.
Perry takes a swing at Da Silva's ribcage but misses.
Da Silva looks to land a body kick but Perry moved away.
A swing and a miss from Perry.
Perry has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Da Silva throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Da Silva lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Da Silva swings for the body but Perry moves out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Perry takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Mike Perry has been cut.
Perry moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Perry is rocked!
Perry throws a jab when Da Silva was well out of range.

Da Silva swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Crunch! Da Silva slams his shin into Perry's torso.

Da Silva misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Da Silva lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Da Silva has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Da Silva ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Perry throws a hook but Da Silva blocks it.
Da Silva throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Perry misses with a straight right.
Perry throws a lazy uppercut
and Da Silva counters with a right hand to the body.
The fighters circle, before Da Silva throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Perry's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Da Silva lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
