The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pulin throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hughes looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Pulin misses with a straight left.
Pulin misses with a few strikes there.
Hughes throws a head kick that Pulin semi-blocks.
Vladimir Pulin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hughes shoots for a double leg takedown but Pulin sprawls well. He's pushed Hughes's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Pulin tries to clinch there but Hughes circles away.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Pulin drops Hughes with a beautiful combination! Hughes stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Pulin is looking for the KO!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pulin is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Hughes hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
