Bateman comes to the cage accompanied by Huey Lewis and The News - Hip To Be Square. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bateman throws a body shot but no joy.
Scouser connects with a body shot that sends Bateman's belly button to the back.
Bateman takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Bateman slips under a jab.
Bateman has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Scouser.
Scouser changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Scouser throws a body punch but Bateman moves out of range.
It looked like Bateman was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Scouser.
Scouser connects with a body shot.

Scouser lands a big head kick that sends Bateman tumbling to the mat! Scouser takes a step backwards and waves Bateman back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Bateman is rocked!

It looks like Patrick Bateman has been cut.
Bateman is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Scouser moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Oh Bateman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nice body kick from Scouser.
Scouser circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Bateman tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Scouser wins by KO!
