The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Majerus closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Lorent is trying to stand back up but Majerus is controlling him

Majerus is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Majerus passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Lorent!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Majerus is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Lorent knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Lorent for a finish.

Lorent really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Majerus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Majerus is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Lorent is defending well though. Majerus let's go of the attempt for now.

Majerus is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Lorent has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Majerus has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Lorent taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Majerus doesn't care though - he's delighted!
