Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nick Lancaster (ranked 3174 p4p, 419 weight class) and Lyfe Wrecker (ranked 3232 p4p, 423 weight class). Lancaster comes to the ring accompanied by Straight Outta Compton. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Lancaster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lyfe Wrecker!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Josh West and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wrecker has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Wrecker there as he acknowledges the shot.

and Wrecker counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Lancaster tries to keep at a distance but Wrecker has taken the fight into the clinch.
Wrecker is pushing Lancaster up against the ropes, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Lancaster lands a slapping body shot.
Lancaster changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Lancaster escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Wrecker throws a nice looking combination but Lancaster bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Lyfe Wrecker will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Wrecker! But no joy.
Wrecker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nick Lancaster is winning the standup battle so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A determined Nick Lancaster didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
