Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Liam McGuiness (ranked 2500 p4p, 359 weight class) and Andriy Pavlyuchenko (ranked 18206 p4p, 898 weight class). McGuiness comes to the ring accompanied by The Boys are Back by Dropkick Murphys. Pavlyuchenko comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Mushroomhead-Soltaire Unraveling kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Pavlyuchenko fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and McGuiness has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

and whilst Pavlyuchenko still has his hands down, McGuiness counters with a perfectly aimed head kick that sends Pavlyuchenko crashing to the mat! Will he recover? 3,4,5,6,7 - he's back up! The referee looks into his eyes and asks him to walk forwards. He's going to allow this one to continue but will Pavlyuchenko be able to survive another onslaught?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and McGuiness counters with a nice uppercut that drops Pavlyuchenko onto his backside! Pavlyuchenko bounces straight back to his feet before we have a chance to even start the count. He'll get the standing 8 count anyway before we get back underway.

McGuiness connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of Pavlyuchenko's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat! That's really rocked Pavlyuchenko - is he going to beat the count??? 4,5,6,7,8,9.....10 - he's not made it - this one is all over!
