Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Glenville Francis!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krylov circles away from the clinch attempt
and Krylov counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Francis doesn't manage to clinch there - Krylov circles away.
Sergei Krylov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Krylov clinches.

Krylov pulls guard successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Francis trying to control the position from guard on top but Krylov is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Krylov is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Francis decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Francis swings for the body but Krylov moves out of range.
Francis closes the distance and clinches up with Krylov, looking for a takedown. Francis pushes Krylov against the cage but Krylov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Krylov swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Krylov closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Krylov lands in his opponent's guard.

Francis wants to sweep here but Krylov controlling him for the moment.
Krylov stays in close to Francis's body and controls the position.
Francis wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Krylov is now in half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Krylov with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Francis tries to kick Krylov off but Krylov keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Krylov is nestled in close to Francis, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Well, if Krylov is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Francis kicks Krylov off and gets back to his feet.

Krylov clinches up against the cage.

Krylov has Francis pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Krylov pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Francis tumbling to the mat - Krylov dives into Francis's guard.
Krylov connects with a couple of short punches.
Francis is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Francis is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Krylov is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Krylov sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Francis's guard.
Francis is trying to maintain the position but Krylov is very close to passing his half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Francis wants to get back to his feet.
Krylov working over Francis with some ground and pound. Francis looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Krylov slows the pace down in half guard.

Francis looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Krylov lands with a punch from half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Krylov wants to advance to full mount but Francis doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Krylov sitting in guard here, content to control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Krylov's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Krylov connects with a superb combination that knocks Francis out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Krylov before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Francis!
