The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leonard tries to score a power double leg takedown but Samaritan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Leonard somewhat.
Samaritan changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Murphy Leonard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Leonard has managed to clinch.
Samaritan blocks an uppercut.
Samaritan has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Samaritan pulls guard effortlessly.
