Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Luciano Figueroa (ranked 24684 p4p, 0 weight class) and Geno Bull (ranked 6356 p4p, 0 weight class). Geno Bull will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Luciano Figueroa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Geno Bull!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Damien Edna and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bull closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Bull pulls Figueroa into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Figueroa wants to get up but he can't break Bull's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Bull looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Figueroa won't allow Bull to get back to his feet.
Bull controls Figueroa momentarily but Figueroa frees himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Figueroa keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bull's head.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Bull closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Bull wants to take a breather but Figueroa is having none of it.
Bull seems to be working for a kimura but Figueroa defends the submission attempt.
Figueroa has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Bull is on him like a limpet, forcing Figueroa back against the cage.

Bull blocks an elbow strike from Figueroa.
Bull works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Figueroa manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A frustrated look appears on Figueroa's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Bull gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Geno Bull will probably get the nod - 10:9.

Figueroa ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Figueroa no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Bull sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Figueroa's guard.

Bull is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Figueroa is just riding it out for now. Bull eventually gives up the hold.

Figueroa takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Figueroa is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Bull is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
