Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 51 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Scotty Bennet!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, AG Pennypacker!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bennet misses with a straight right.
Pennypacker throws a looping overhand right but Bennet ducks down to avoid it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Pennypacker. Bennet does a little dance to reset his feet.

Pennypacker instigates a clinch.

Pennypacker breaks from the clinch.
Bennet seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Bennet scores with a decent looking hook.
Pennypacker takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
We've been informed that Pennypacker has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Pennypacker tries to bum rush Bennet with a series of wild strikes but Bennet uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pennypacker looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

Pennypacker pushes Bennet up against the cage in a clinch.
Pennypacker lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Pennypacker blocks an uppercut.

Bennet pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Pennypacker uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bennet.
Pennypacker throws out a counter right but Bennet avoids it with no problem.
Pennypacker smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Bennet wants to break the clinch but can't.

Bennet swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Pennypacker rushes Bennet and presses him up against the cage.

Pennypacker manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Bennet on his heels. He'll look to pass Bennet's guard now, I'm sure.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bennet is looking to break free of the clinch but Pennypacker has double underhooks.

Bennet misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Pennypacker doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Pennypacker breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Pennypacker bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Bennet is looking for a sweep.
Bennet avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Pennypacker.
Bennet is trying to get back to half guard.

Pennypacker landing a few strikes.
Bennet tries to improve position but can't.

Pennypacker stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Pennypacker lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Bennet takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Bennet lands the left hand.
Bennet tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pennypacker was well out of range. Poor timing from Bennet.

Scotty Bennet is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bennet gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Pennypacker.

Pennypacker clinches.
Oh Bennet is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A short uppercut from Pennypacker.

Pennypacker breaks the clinch.
Bennet throws a body punch but Pennypacker moves out of range.

Pennypacker closes the distance and pushes Bennet back into the cage.
Bennet seems to have got his legs back now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bennet scores with a shot to the side of Pennypacker's head.
Pennypacker blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Pennypacker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Pennypacker has taken the fight to the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Pennypacker breaks from the clinch.
Pennypacker bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Pennypacker stuns Bennet with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Bennet scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Bennet throws a jab but it's blocked by Pennypacker.
Bennet lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Pennypacker lands a left and a right that sends Bennet crashing to the canvas! Pennypacker dives into mount looking to finish!
Pennypacker lands a nice shot to the head.
Bennet working to try and regain half guard.
Bennet is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Bennet is breathing heavily.

Pennypacker has hold of Bennet's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bennet manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Pennypacker lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Pennypacker trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Pennypacker prevents Bennet from getting the reversal.

Pennypacker stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Pennypacker lands with a nice body punch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

AG Pennypacker dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Pennypacker moves into the clinch.
Bennet tries to break the clinch but Pennypacker is controlling the position.
Bennet throws a punch but it's blocked by Pennypacker.
Pennypacker cracks Bennet with a nice body shot.

Pennypacker gets control of Bennet's arms and successfully pulls guard. Pennypacker will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Pennypacker controls Bennet momentarily but Bennet frees himself.
Bennet throws an elbow that misses. Pennypacker uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bennet's guard. Nice move by Pennypacker!

Bennet looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Bennet is working an open guard so Pennypacker takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
AG Pennypacker seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Pennypacker tries to land a front kick but Bennet steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Pennypacker looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Pennypacker backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Bennet's temple! It sends Bennet violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Pennypacker celebrates and the doctors try to help Bennet!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). AG Pennypacker!
In his post fight interview, AG Pennypacker started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
In defeat, Scotty Bennet stepped up to the mic, saying 'I want my mommy!'.
