Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Brodie (ranked 9745 p4p, 620 weight class) and Mario Pereira (ranked 5697 p4p, 493 weight class). Brodie comes to the cage accompanied by Nasty. Pereira is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Phil Collins - In The Air Tonight. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Anthony Taglia and Alyssa Summers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pereira moves out of range of the strikes.
Brodie throws a leg kick but Pereira moved away.
Pereira is looking for the big counter here.
A combination from Pereira does no damage.
Pereira looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Brodie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pereira pinned against the cage. Pereira gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Pereira tries to land a leg kick but Brodie saw it coming and moves away.
Brodie jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Pereira throws a one two combo.
Pereira looks to land a combination. Brodie sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Pereira slips a jab from Brodie.
Brodie throws a poor cross that misses
letting Pereira counter with a right hand.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Brodie swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Brodie avoids a punch combination nicely.
Pereira lands a really nice looking cross but Brodie seems unphased.
Brodie just misses with a punch to the body.
Pereira moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brodie swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Pereira lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Mario Pereira is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Brodie throws a half hearted mid kick.
Pereira tries to bum rush Brodie with a series of wild strikes but Brodie uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pereira fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Brodie.
Brodie misses with an uppercut. Pereira saw that one coming.
Pereira clobbers Brodie with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Brodie attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Pereira scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Pereira will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Pereira misses with a low kick.
Pereira works over Brodie's head and body with a nice combination.

Brodie is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pereira goes for a small jab and connects. Now Pereira goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Brodie stumbles back but Pereira runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Brodie to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Brodie will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
