Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darrell Velazquez (ranked 25503 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Westfield Jr (ranked 6555 p4p, 0 weight class). Westfield Jr is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Zomboy - Like A Bitch. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Westfield Jr throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Velazquez counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Westfield Jr looks to land a left hand but Velazquez moved out of range nicely.
A little feinted left hand from Velazquez on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Velazquez goes for a double leg but Westfield Jr avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Westfield Jr continues to drive forward.
Velazquez fails to land the takedown.
No luck for Velazquez with that takedown attempt.
And Westfield Jr tries to counter it with a takedown but Velazquez pushes his down on his head and steps out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Darrell Velazquez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Westfield Jr misses with a looping left.
Westfield Jr loads up on a big right hand but Velazquez slips the punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Velazquez slips a straight right by Westfield Jr.

Velazquez throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Westfield Jr tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Velazquez is in Westfield Jr's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Westfield Jr is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Westfield Jr has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Westfield Jr is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Velazquez is controlling him.
Velazquez wants to control from the top but Westfield Jr keeps moving.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Travis Westfield Jr is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Velazquez shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Westfield Jr as he jumps to the side.
Westfield Jr dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Westfield Jr catches Velazquez with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Velazquez takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

It looks like Darrell Velazquez has been cut.
Westfield Jr fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Velazquez square on the jaw! Damn, Velazquez is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
