The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smoke scores with a jab to the head.
Petersen throws a leg kick that misses.

Petersen gets a takedown into half guard.
Smoke scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Petersen manages to mount him!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Smoke tries to buck Petersen off but he can't manage it.

Smoke really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Petersen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Petersen is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Smoke can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
