Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Harvey Darvey (ranked 4203 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lilo Metdida (ranked 6485 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darvey pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Metdida fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Darvey avoids it really well and circles away.
Metdida misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Darvey changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Metdida throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

This has been an exciting period of action!

Darvey's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
