Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Syntra Cynster (ranked 9596 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rikudo Shimazaki (ranked 7434 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Syntra Cynster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rikudo Shimazaki!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksandr Martynov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab from Cynster.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Cynster crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Shimazaki - the referee stops the clock and Cynster gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Shimazaki. Cynster manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Cynster clinches.
Shimazaki jumps guard but Cynster turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Cynster breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Cynster misses with a hook
and Shimazaki counters with a nice body kick.
Shimazaki scores with a body shot.
Cynster is breathing heavily.
Cynster misses with a body punch
and Shimazaki counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Syntra Cynster has been cut.
Shimazaki's corner calls for a 1-2. Shimazaki obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Shimazaki fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Cynster has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Shimazaki lands a nice looking body kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Shimazaki scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

That's one minute gone in the round.
A solid leg kick lands there for Shimazaki.
Cynster on the wrong end of a nice jab.
A punch lands to the side of Cynster 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Syntra Cynster's cut is getting worse.
A chopping leg kick lands by Shimazaki.
Shimazaki with a nice cross.
Cynster takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Cynster is rocked!
Shimazaki lands with a good body shot.
Shimazaki digs a good body shot into Cynster's ribs.
Shimazaki lands a nice looking body shot.
Cynster sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Rikudo Shimazaki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Shimazaki, as that shot connected.

Syntra Cynster's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Shimazaki drops Cynster with a left and a right! Oh, Cynster is hurt - Shimazaki dives into side control looking to finish!
Oh Cynster is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Shimazaki is working to tighten his grip on Cynster's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Cynster has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Shimazaki is really squeezing tight and eventually Cynster passes out! Shimazaki breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
