Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jose Pacheco (ranked 4028 p4p, 195 weight class) and Max Superior (ranked 4961 p4p, 246 weight class). Max Superior will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jose Pacheco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Max Superior!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, David Hoff and Bart Greer.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pacheco shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Superior drops Pacheco with a beautiful combination! Pacheco stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Superior is looking for the KO!

It looks like Jose Pacheco has been cut.
Superior ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Oh Pacheco is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Pacheco has been working on his balance at Blood Warrior, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Superior.

Superior is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Superior is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Pacheco.

Pacheco is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Superior knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Superior for a finish.
Pacheco really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Pacheco shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Superior as he avoids it easily.
Superior is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Pacheco with a body shot.

Superior has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Pacheco is landing a low percentage of strikes.

and Superior counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Superior wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jose Pacheco. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jose Pacheco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Superior scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Pacheco doesn't seem bothered though.

Pacheco dives in and grabs Superior's left leg, looking for a takedown. Superior pushes down on Pacheco's head and hops out.
Max Superior seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Superior lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Pacheco falls backwards - clearly groggy! Superior dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Max Superior!
A very excited looking Max Superior made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
