Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fernandez misses with a takedown

and Tan counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Fernandez tries to pull guard but Tan forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Tan ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Tan no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Tan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Fernandez manages to get himself to full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fernandez is looking to stand up but Tan isn't so interested in that idea.

Tan postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Fernandez can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Tan controls the pace.
It looks like Tan might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Tan arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Fernandez's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
