The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Steve Montenegro and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swanson throws a head kick that misses.
Azumah swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Swanson throws a combination that misses
and Azumah counters with a straight right hand.
Azumah slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Swanson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Swanson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Azumah is fending him off so far but Swanson persists. Nope, Azumah circles away and we're back to standing.
Azumah misses with a straight left.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Swanson is defended easily by Azumah.
Azumah gets in close and instigates a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Azumah lands a hook to the side of the head.
Swanson is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Azumah is keeping busy.

Azumah lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Azumah throws a shot from downtown. Swanson moves away and avoids it.
Swanson tries to clinch but Azumah moves out of range.
Swanson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Good exchange - Azumah coming out on top.
Azumah jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Swanson with a lazy takedown attempt
and Azumah counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Oh Swanson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Azumah comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Azumah throws a shot from downtown. Swanson moves away and avoids it.

Swanson tries to counter with a takedown but Azumah is quick to defend against it.
A decent looking cross lands there for Azumah.
Swanson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Azumah.
Azumah throws an overhand right that lands on Swanson's shoulder, as Swanson tries to avoid the shot.
Swanson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Azumah has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.

and Azumah connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
No joy there for Azumah, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
