Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Heavy Rain (ranked 1577 p4p, 190 weight class) and Yuri Bedlaminov (ranked 2174 p4p, 267 weight class). Rain's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, For Heavy Metal we will die!. Bedlaminov comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Call to Arms kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Heavy Rain is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Heavy Rain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Yuri Bedlaminov!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bedlaminov lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Rain really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bedlaminov throws a lazy right hand but Rain sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

It looks like Yuri Bedlaminov has been cut.
Rain throws a sloppy head kick and Bedlaminov moves out of range easily.
Bedlaminov misses with an uppercut.
Rain rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Bedlaminov counters with a low kick, right behind Rain 's knee.
Bedlaminov throws a lazy right hand but Rain sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bedlaminov throws a shot from downtown. Rain moves away and avoids it.
Rain lands a nice hook to Bedlaminov's body. Bedlaminov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A slapping body kick lands there for Rain.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bedlaminov crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Rain - the referee stops the clock and Bedlaminov gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Rain. Bedlaminov manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Bedlaminov uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rain.

Bedlaminov tries to clinch up but Rain circles away and keeps his distance.

Rain cracks Bedlaminov with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

We've been told by Rain's head coaches at Heavy Metal that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Heavy Rain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Bedlaminov throws out a loose jab but Rain uses good head movement to avoid it.
Rain throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Bedlaminov's head.
Rain is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Rain sets himself, and Bedlaminov steps forward looking for the clinch! Rain avoids it this time.
Good leg kick by Rain there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Rain fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bedlaminov.

As Rain backs off Bedlaminov throws a huge counter combo but Rain manages to avoid it all.

Bedlaminov chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Rain can pounce on him.
Rain feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bedlaminovs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The crowd cheers as Rain lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bedlaminov doesn't seem phased though.
Bedlaminov has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Rain.
Nice straight punches there by Rain. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Rain.

Bedlaminov shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Rain appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.

Rain is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bedlaminov can do to turn this around?

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rain smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Rain looks to land a body kick but Bedlaminov moved away.
Bedlaminov sizes up Rain with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Rain lands a glancing blow to the side of Bedlaminov's head.
Rain will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Bedlaminov steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Rain.
Rain connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

and Bedlaminov counters with a stiff right hand.
Rain throws a nice outside leg kick.
Bedlaminov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rain manages to avoid it.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Bedlaminov might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Rain has got the better of the exchanges.

Oooooh!!! Rain has knocked Bedlaminov down with a huge combo! Rain steps away and waves a wobbly Bedlaminov back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

That has opened up Yuri Bedlaminov's cut even more.

Bedlaminov is still on wobbly legs! Can Rain finish him?
Rain misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rain takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Rain pounces like a tiger and cracks Bedlaminov with a vicious hook! Bedlaminov is down but not out! Rain follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Heavy Rain!
Heavy Rain spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
Yuri Bedlaminov spoke after the fight, saying 'I am still laughing at the fact that we BOTH came in to Manowar m/ =T=m/'.
