Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Liquid Gold (ranked 654 p4p, 66 weight class) and Samuel Washington (ranked 2305 p4p, 242 weight class). Washington has chosen TNT as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Samuel Washington is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Washington moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Washington takes one to the chin there.
Gold lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Washington defending well as Gold loads up on a big left hand.
Washington shapes to counter with a head kick.
A clash of legs there as Washington blocks the low kick.
Washington avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Washington manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Gold on his heels. He'll look to pass Gold's guard now, I'm sure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gold utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Gold throws a series of strikes that have Washington backpedaling.
A solid leg kick lands there for Gold.

Washington throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Gold on the side of the head.

Gold has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Washington is working away from the top position though.

Washington wants to take a breather but Gold is having none of it.
Gold moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Washington throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Washington throws a strike but Gold rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Gold would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Washington tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Washington has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Washington pulls Gold in close to prevent any damage.

Gold drops Washington with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Washington looks back up at him and smiles so Gold waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Washington is rocked!

It looks like Samuel Washington has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gold drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Washington's head, knocking him out cold! Gold is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
