The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Melodies waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dangerfield.
Melodies connects with a single shot there.
Melodies takes a swing at Dangerfield's ribcage but misses.
Melodies throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
And Dangerfield tries to counter it with a takedown but Melodies pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Dangerfield moves in looking to clinch but Melodies pushes him off.
Melodies went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Dangerfield closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Melodies's guard.
Melodies is looking to stand back up but Dangerfield counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Melodies.

Dangerfield works his way into full mount!
Dangerfield sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
