PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Maxwell Booker (ranked 1608 p4p, 175 weight class) and Danilo Gentili (ranked 2937 p4p, 291 weight class). Danilo Gentili told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Gentili isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Booker stacks Gentili on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Booker!

Booker has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Booker is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Gentili is trying to escape and Booker transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Gentili is forced to tap! Nice work there by Booker! Very nice indeed!

A relieved looking Maxwell Booker thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
