Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marvin Hinton (ranked 2525 p4p, 348 weight class) and Hector Stefan (ranked 3722 p4p, 480 weight class). Stefan has chosen Onward to Victory as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Hinton cracks Stefan with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Hinton.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Stefan! But no joy.
Stefan uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hinton.

Stefan tries to bum rush Hinton with a series of wild strikes but Hinton uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Hinton is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Stefan is aware though and is defending well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stefan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hinton has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Stefan has managed to get both his arms back between Hinton's legs - danger averted.

Stefan wants to get up but he can't break Hinton's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Stefan remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
