The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holgar misses with an uppercut. Mitchell saw that one coming.
A jab from Holgar finds it's way through Mitchell's defenses.

It looks like Jose Mitchell has been cut.
Holgar defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mitchell.
Mitchell steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Holgar.
Holgar is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mitchell.
Mitchell shoots in but no luck this time.
As Mitchell tries to get set, Holgar tries to push him back and clinch up but Mitchell manages to avoid the attempt.
Mitchell fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Holgar is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Mitchell.
Horrace Holgar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jose Mitchell.
Holgar just misses with a punch to the body.
Holgar dips to his left and cracks Mitchell with an uppercut!
Holgar definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Mitchell will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Holgar gets caught napping as Mitchell dives in and scores a takedown. Holgar manages to retain guard.

Mitchell drops back, looking for a kneebar! Holgar looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Holgar looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Holgar!

Mitchell seems a little lost for a moment, as Holgar dominates the positioning.

Mitchell is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Mitchell bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Holgar is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Holgar keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Mitchell wants to break free but Holgar has control.
Holgar misses with a punch on the inside.

Mitchell is working for takedown but Holgar is calmly controlling the position for now.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Holgar.

Mitchell escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Holgar clinches.
Holgar misses with the head strike.
Still in the clinch, Holgar scores with a nice short uppercut.
Holgar keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Mitchell's efforts to push away.

Mitchell is trying to force a seperation but Holgar has the dominant position.
Mitchell goes for a takedown attempt but Holgar pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Mitchell shoots in and gets a takedown into Holgar's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Holgar has momentary wrist control but Mitchell slips an elbow through the middle.
Mitchell connects with a couple of short punches.

Mitchell missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Mitchell postures up in Holgar's guard and throws a big left but Holgar blocks it.
Mitchell is in close to Holgar's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Holgar controls Mitchell momentarily but Mitchell frees himself.

Holgar on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Holgar tries to get out of the position.
Mitchell arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Holgar's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
