Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zsiga Venczel (ranked 4887 p4p, 602 weight class) and Dirk Diggler (ranked 4463 p4p, 554 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diggler takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Venczel rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Diggler moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Venczel displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Venczel cracks Diggler with an open hand slap.
Diggler shoots in looking for a takedown. Venczel tries to sprawl out of it but Diggler keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Venczel manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Diggler pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Venczel connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Venczel lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Diggler circles away quickly and effectively.
Diggler has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Diggler there as he acknowledges the shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Venczel scores with a nice strike.
Venczel lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Diggler tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Venczel shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Diggler is trying to defend but Venczel finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Diggler is looking for a triangle but Venczel pushes his legs off easily.
We've been hearing that Venczel has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Diggler takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Diggler enables Venczel to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Diggler manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!

Venczel has hold of Diggler's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Diggler seems comfortable defending it but Venczel has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Diggler is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Diggler is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Venczel couldn't care less - he's delighted!
