The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hero looks to land a left hand but Chlapik moved out of range nicely.
Chlapik's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Chlapik duly obliges.
Hero works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Hero uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Chlapik has time to react.
Hero looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Chlapik fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hero, pushing him back against the cage.

Chlapik gets control of Hero's arms and successfully pulls guard. Chlapik will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hero stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chlapik swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Chlapik wants to sweep here but Hero controlling him for the moment.
