Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Todd Rodd (ranked 24711 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tristan Barolo (ranked 24566 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barolo misses with a body kick.
Rodd slips a jab and a cross from Barolo.
Barolo throws a right hand that Rodd ducks under and follows up with a left that Rodd also avoids with ease.
Rodd tries to counter by clinching up but Barolo breaks away and moves out of range.
Barolo wants to clinch

and Rodd counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Barolo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Rodd on his heels. He'll look to pass Rodd's guard now, I'm sure.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Barolo stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Rodd to get to his feet.

Rodd gets caught napping as Barolo dives in and scores a takedown. Rodd manages to retain guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Barolo stands up from Rodd's guard - Barolo perhaps looking for a knockout.

Barolo drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Barolo gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Barolo doesn't manage to clinch there - Rodd circles away.
Barolo just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromRodd.
Barolo ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Rodd is breathing heavily.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Barolo.
Rodd wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
