Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kolten Svendettee (ranked 3243 p4p, 119 weight class) and Bubba Smith (ranked 6096 p4p, 222 weight class). Smith has chosen Ruff Ryders Anthem as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Josh West and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Smith.
Svendettee blocks a jab.
Smith throws a half hearted mid kick.
Svendettee takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
It looks like Kolten Svendettee has been cut.
Svendettee connects with a body shot.
Svendettee throws a right and a left that Smith avoids nicely.
Svendettee connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Donk. Svendettee catches Smith right on the button with a cross.
Svendettee lands with a nice combination. Smith backs away looking to recover.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Svendettee scores with a one two! Smith had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Smith tries a head kick but it misses.
Smith throws a lazy head kick
letting Svendettee counter with a right hand.
Svendettee blocks a head kick by Smith.
Svendettee closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Smith looks winded!
Smith misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Svendettee scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Smith swings widly with a right hand
and Smith takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Smith takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Smith pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Smith throws a lazy head kick
and Svendettee counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Smith badly! Svendettee follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Smith out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Svendettee finished him against the cage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Kolten Svendettee!
Kolten Svendettee seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Bubba Smith was interviewed post fight and said 'I'll knock that bitch out next time, guaranteed.'.
