The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Krilov as Cartman shoots in.
Krilov lands the left hand.

Krilov rushes Cartman and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Krilov scores with a nice hook to the head.
Come on Krilov - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Krilov gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Cartman.
Cartman misses with some punches.
Cartman tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Krilov smiles and moves away.
Matvei Krilov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eric Cartman.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cartman keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Krilov.
Krilov tests Cartman's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Cartman shoots and misses
and Krilov cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Cartman throws a sloppy head kick
letting Krilov counter with a right hand.

Krilov closes the distance and pushes Cartman back into the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Krilov lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Cartman using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Krilov has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Krilov gets through Cartman's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Krilov digs a right hand into Cartman's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Cartman's gas tank.
Krilov lands a hook to the side of the head.

Cartman is rocked!
Krilov makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Cartman is still on wobbly legs! Can Krilov finish him?
Cartman tries to pull guard but Krilov forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Cartman is looking for a takedown.
Krilov lands a right hand that snaps the head of Cartman backwards.
Krilov lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Cartman to his knees! Krilov keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matvei Krilov!
A relieved looking Matvei Krilov thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
