Montgomery is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Right Said Fred - I'm Too Sexy. Ricky Arderos is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montgomery slaps away a takedown attempt from Arderos, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Montgomery lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Montgomery connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Arderos momentarily.
Arderos tries to clinch but Montgomery moves away
and Montgomery counters with a straight right hand.
Arderos tries for a takedown but Montgomery circles away easily
and Arderos takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Montgomery slaps away a takedown attempt from Arderos, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricky Arderos. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Arderos on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Montgomery. Montgomery obviously looking to wear him down.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Arderos throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Montgomery's waist but Montgomery gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Arderos off to one side.
Montgomery has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far.
Montgomery closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Arderos moves to clinch but Montgomery breaks away
and Montgomery counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Montgomery cracks a nice hook into Arderos's ribs.

Arderos gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Montgomery gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
