Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mason Reilly (ranked 25707 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Wheeler (ranked 5924 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wheeler takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Wheeler shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Wheeler showed some decent athleticism there.
Reilly tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Wheeler throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Wheeler performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Reilly is trying to get back to full guard.

Reilly is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Wheeler pulls his head out easily.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Wheeler throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Wheeler is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Reilly is surviving well by controlling Wheeler's body position as best he can.

Reilly has his foot on Wheeler's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wheeler works his way back into a safe position though.

Reilly is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Wheeler is aware though and is defending well.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Wheeler is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Reilly can't fight it off and eventually Wheeler manages to take the fight to the floor. Reilly looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Reilly is on top in guard.

Ryan Wheeler showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Reilly is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Wheeler slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Ryan Wheeler comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Wheeler has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ryan Wheeler decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
