Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Butorin (ranked 3713 p4p, 414 weight class) and The Requis (ranked 4155 p4p, 454 weight class). Requis has chosen REQUIS THE DEMI-GOD as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Kenichi Hosakawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Requis works over Butorin's head and body with a nice combination.

It looks like Alex Butorin has been cut.
Requis throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Butorin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Requis misses with a few strikes there.
It looked like Butorin was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Requis has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
